The beautiful City of George is surrounded by the Outeniqua mountains, forests, rivers, open sea and picturesque farmlands. The Outeniqua Transport Museum houses replicas of old stations, displays of locomotives and coaches – well worth a visit!
The city has excellent road, air and rail links to all major centers within the country, and is a convenient base from which to explore the many attractions of the Garden Route and Klein Karoo.
